Pocket Pantry helps you capture recipes, plan meals, check ingredients, shop, and cook. This policy describes the app and support email. It does not replace the policies of Apple or websites you choose to visit.
Your recipes and household information
The app stores recipes, photos, ingredients, meal plans, shopping progress, cooking history, preferences, and Kitchen information on your device. When iCloud is available, supported information can sync through Apple CloudKit. Shared Kitchen information is shared with the people participating in that Kitchen. Keep personal information out of shared notes and recipes unless you intend other members to see it.
Pocket Pantry does not require a separate Neeb Haus account. iCloud availability and sharing use your Apple account and Apple services.
Recipe imports and device permissions
When you import a recipe from a link, the app requests the webpage from its provider. That provider receives a normal network request, which can include your IP address. Review the provider's privacy policy for its practices.
Camera and photo access are used when you choose to capture or select recipe content. Photo text recognition runs on your device. Saving imported content may include it in iCloud sync or a shared Kitchen. Notifications and Live Activities are used for cooking timers and progress when enabled.
Tracking and advertising
Pocket Pantry does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. Apple may process service information, diagnostics, or TestFlight feedback under its own policies and your device settings.
Support
If you email support@neebhaus.com, Neeb Haus receives your email address and the message and attachments you send. We use this information to respond and investigate the issue, and retain it as needed for support and applicable obligations. Avoid sending passwords or sensitive information that is not needed to understand the issue.
Your choices and data
You can edit and delete content through the app and control camera, photo, notification, and iCloud permissions through your device settings. Shared Kitchen members may retain information they have already copied or exported. Leaving a Kitchen is not a request to erase another member's copy.
Recipe Backup exports recipe content, including photos, substitutions, and step links. It does not back up meal plans, shopping progress, cooking history, preferences, or Kitchen membership. Contact support before uninstalling or changing your installation if you need help recovering data.
